The short version: metered monthly, no lock-in, and everything runs from your own domain.

Q1 What counts as an email?+
One email is a single message delivered to one recipient — whether it came from the API, SMTP, a campaign send, an automation step or a test send. A campaign to 5,000 contacts counts as 5,000 emails against your monthly volume. Bounces and suppressed addresses that never leave the platform are not counted.
Q2 Can I change plans whenever I want?+
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your dashboard — changes take effect immediately and your monthly volume adjusts to the new tier. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees; if you stop sending, drop back to Free and keep your account, domain and templates.
Q3 Is there really a free plan?+
There is — Free is $0 forever, no credit card, and it is the full product: 1,000 emails a month, all 40 templates, campaigns, automations, segments and the complete developer API. It is built for real first sends, not a stripped-down trial.
Q4 How does billing work?+
Billing is metered monthly through Stripe. You pick a plan, and your monthly volume allowance comes with it. Add a card when you move to Scale or Pro; charges are billed each month for that period. Everything is handled in Stripe's secure checkout — we never store your card details.
Q5 Do you offer annual billing?+
Not today. Deckle bills monthly on all plans, so the price you see is the price per month with no annual commitment to sign. If dedicated annual terms would help your team, get in touch and we will talk it through.
Q6 Can I send from my own domain?+
Always — on every plan, including Free. You verify your domain once with generated DKIM, SPF and DMARC records checked by real DNS lookups, then send under your own address with custom MAIL FROM alignment and automatic suppression handling. Your reputation stays yours.
